Brian Sullivan, UX and Slideshare Expert, to speak at Rocks Digital<\/h2>\nBrian Sullivan, UX and Slideshare Expert, to speak at Rocks Digital<\/h2>\nBrian Sullivan is an international user experience researcher, who is passionate about making products that look good and work well. Brian is publishing his first book by Focal Press, \u201cThe Design Studio Method\u201d<\/em>, which will help IT professionals advance their design skills and create better user experiences through collaborative sketching with their teams.<\/p>\n Brian has over 11,000 followers on Slideshare<\/a> and his presentations have been translated into 15 different languages. His presentation titled “Design Like Da Vinci” was the top presentation at SxSW 2013 and “Pixel Perfect” was chosen as a Top Five at SxSW 2015.<\/p>\n As a design leader and international speaker, he founded the Big Design Conference, with over 1,000 people in attendance each year with speakers from Disney, PayPal, Amazon, Pixar, Adobe and Microsoft.<\/p>\n He is the founder of the UX Dallas Meetup with over 1,500 members, which is host to over 30 meetings yearly. Currently, Brian is creating the UX certification program at Southern Methodist University. He speaks at SxSW Interactive, Big Design Conference, IA Summit, UXPA International, User Friendly China, CPSI Conference and STC Summit.<\/p>\n As the Director of Research and User Testing at Tonic 3, Brian has worked with clients such as United Airlines, Burger King, Sabre, Carter Blood Center, American Airlines and AT&T. He is a Mentor at the Addison Treehouse where he consults with local startups launching their businesses.<\/p>\n As a design consultant, Brian works to define and deliver solutions for complex problems, including decision support systems, data visualizations, systems management tools and more.
