Unless you have been living under a rock, you might have noticed that there are a multitude of video platforms available for you to post video content on.<\/p>\n

You have everything from Facebook, Instagram, Vine, Vimeo, and well of course YouTube as options. Is that an all-inclusive list? Not even close<\/em>. Those are just some of the bigger names that come to mind when we they think of online video.<\/p>\n

Why You Need To Use YouTube<\/strong><\/h2>\n

1. Google Owns It<\/strong><\/h3>\n

That alone should say it all. With the vast majority of the population using Google for their search engine<\/a> of choice, it is only logical to appease the powers that be by using their video platform. If you have ever taken the time to search through Google, more and more you will find YouTube videos ranking on the first page. In many cases, this is one of the best ways to get your business front and center of your prospective new clients. \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

2. The Interview \u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Regardless of how you feel about the movie\u2019s artistic talent or lack their of, it made history by being released the same day in theaters as being available online. Through online sales and rentals the movie generated over $15 Million compared to $2.84 million in theaters. While it may not be the type of revenue associated with a box office hit, it does signify that consumers want to consume content on their terms. Does it mean the end to the box office, not by any means, but it does mean change is on the horizon.<\/p>\n

3. YouTube Stars Getting TV Shows<\/strong><\/h2>\n

When it comes to followings there are several YouTube stars that have a bigger social impact than some people in Hollywood. Which explains why E! picked up a show from YouTube Star Grace Helbig<\/a>. If networks are looking towards YouTube for new talent, it signifies that viewers habits are changing. Gone are the days of simply someone having a pretty face. It is more about who can bring a large social engagement audience along with them.<\/p>\n

4. Suggested Videos<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Anytime you watch a video on YouTube, you may have noticed you get a list of other videos to watch. YouTube makes these video suggestions based on content you are currently watching. If you create ample video content, your videos about your business can be discovered when others search for related terms on the products and services that you offer. This helps\u00a0increase your YouTube views<\/a>.\u00a0How do you think this could benefit your business?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I have included just four reasons why you should be leveraging YouTube in your business<\/a>. The list goes on and on.<\/p>\n

Quickly, besides uploading your videos directly to YouTube, you can host a Google Plus Hangout<\/a> and share those videos to your YouTube Channel.<\/p>\n
